"Strange Fruit" at CTS

STRANGE FRUIT: ENCOUNTEREING THE MYSTERY OF THE CROSS THROUGH THE ARTS –Tuesday, April 15 at 7:00pm at CTS, Shelton Auditorium.  To honor the 75th anniversary of Billie Holliday’s song “Strange Fruit” (a protest poem inspired by an infamous photograph of a lynching in Marion, Indiana and declared by TIME magazine to be “The Song of the Century”) CTS is hosting a Passion Play with an evening of meditations on the mystery of the Christian cross through music, dance, spoken word, and film.  Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for youth (<18 years) and we have 20 tickets on reserve.  Please contact Fr.
