Service to Others
Outreach efforts are an integral part of the St. Francis community. We believe we are the hands and feet of Jesus in this world. We continually seek His guidance to help others in our community and around the world.

The Outreach Committee meets regularly to plan and organize special projects. Examples of past projects include a school supply drive in August, an underwear drive in October, crockpot drive for the Caring Center Cooking Club, Thanksgiving pies for Caring Center in November, an Angel Tree at Christmas for Caring Center and Dayspring clients, and a pajama drive to benefit Wheeler Mission. Some projects are ongoing and some are one-time projects to fit a special occasion or need, such as the mission trip to Henryville after the tornado of 2012.
Make a difference with a few minutes of your time! Support our ongoing collections by bringing items to church. There are designated collection boxes and envelopes in the Narthex:
Look for a permanent box in the Narthex for donations of gently used clothing and shoes. Items for men, women and children are welcome!
Food Pantry Collection
Place non-perishable food items for the food pantry in a permanent box in the Narthex. This collection goes on year-round, as hunger knows no season.
