Welcome!

We at St. Francis In-The-Fields are excited to present to you and the Zionsville community…

Illuminations of Love

We are delighted to offer works by artist Elizabeth Wang. Her work gives special attention to the use of light that illumines the vibrancy of color in her pieces. We offer Wang’s expressions as a safe outdoor spiritual walk that encourages looking beyond the colors on the page to the light and love that surrounds us in our everyday life. You can find more information about Elizabeth Wang at https://radiantlight.org.uk/elizabeth-wang/

Why Illuminations of Love?

We acknowledge that everyone has been challenged in ways beyond what we could have imagined during the pandemic. We pray that by walking through our Illuminations of Love exhibit you may take notice of things not seen before or things forgotten. Just like the colors on a page, at first glance you may not immediately connect with what you see, but if you spend time in reflection and prayer, you may be surprised at what is revealed. Our hope is that this revelation may go beyond what is seen and actually reveal something within yourself.

Whether you visit with the intention to focus on your spirituality or to simply appreciate Elizabeth Wang’s artwork, we thank you for visiting and we hope you find the experience enjoyable.

Illuminations of Love will be available starting August 8, 2021 through the Fall season. It is available during daylight hours as weather permits. You can safely access the reflections using your mobile device and QR codes at each station. We will also have printed booklets available at the welcome station by the trail for those that prefer the reflections to be in print (while supplies last).

May God bless you and God’s peace, light, and love always be illumined in us all through our intentions and actions.
