Dayspring Center Dinners

Homelessness is growing in Indianapolis - especially for families with children. On any given night, 3,500 of our neighbors are homeless, including 1,245 children. Poverty and the lack of affordable housing are cited as the principal causes of family homelessness.

Dayspring Center's mission is to provide shelter, food, clothes, and assistance for homeless families with children as well as help these families in finding a home of their own. Last year Dayspring Center assisted 150 families in central Indiana.

St. Francis provides volunteers to serve first Friday dinners throughout the year. St. Francis also partners with Dayspring Center through hands on volunteering and special events like the Angel Tree during the Christmas season.
