You are invited to a holy and lifegiving Lenten Season at St. Francis In-The-Fields. As God bids all faithful people to cleanse their hearts, and prepare with joy for the Paschal feast, we will gather this Lenten season to repent and give thanks, pray, study, fast, care generously and celebrate God’s enduring mercies. Join us as we are renewed by God’s Word and Sacraments to walk in love in this holy season of Lent.

Let us gather as followers of the Risen Christ, and strive to be instruments of God's peace in the season of Lent.

Weekly Worship

Join us every Sunday morning as we gather to worship. Sunday Worship begins at 8:00 am in an in person only intimate celebration of the Holy Eucharist in the worship space. At 10:00 am our worship service includes music and is also streamed live online on our Facebook page.

Ladies Bible Study on Thursdays

Lenten Ladies Bible Study begins March 6 and ends May 1. Every Thursday at 10:00 am we meet both in person and online, sharing prayer, study, and fellowship together. This Lent, we will journey through the Gospel of Luke. All ladies of the parish are welcome and invited to join.

Stations of the Cross

Walk fifteen Stations of the Passion in the St. Francis sanctuary that draw us closer to the resurrection God’s only Son, through which all people are bestowed with the brightness of God’s light.

You may interact with the Stations at any time Sunday from 7:30 am to 12:00 pm, or Monday through Thursday from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. A devotional booklet will be available for a guided liturgy.

Holy Monday, April 14th at 6:00 pm - Holy Eucharist

Holy Tuesday,  April 15th at 6:00 pm - Holy Eucharist

Holy Wednesday, April 16th - Stations at 5:00 pm, Holy Eucharist at 6:00 pm

Walk the Stations of the Cross with Fr. Davies and Deacon Tim Perry from St. Alphonsus Liguori Catholic Church at 5pm at St. Francis. The Stations of the Cross (also called the Way of the Cross) is a traditional devotion commemorating the last day of Jesus’ life. The devotion is an adaptation to local usage of a custom widely observed by pilgrims to Jerusalem: the offering of prayer at a series of places in that city traditionally associated with our Lord’s passion and death.

After walking the stations with Fr. Davies and Deacon Tim, stay for Holy Eucharist at 6pm.

Maundy Thursday, April 17th at 6:00 pm

Participate in this liturgy where we commemorate the institution of the Eucharist and celebrate the call to serve others with an invitation to wash your feet in a special ceremony.

At 12:10 pm at St. Francis, come to our Good Friday Proper Liturgy, which includes John's account of the Passion gospel, the solemn collects (dating from ancient Rome), and the Veneration of the Cross. The eucharist is not celebrated in the Episcopal Church on Good Friday.

Join us and our siblings in Christ of the Zionsville Area Ministers Association (ZAMA) for The Seven Last Words of Christ: Reflections and Worship on Good Friday at Zionsville United Methodist Church at 6:30pm.
